Perhaps there’s an alternate timeline where in the year 2000 Kid Rock perishes in a horrible motorboating accident (felled by motor, or suffocated by boobs, you make the call!) and this song becomes another rung on the ladder towards a post-racial America where hard rock guitars and old school hip-hop lingo live together in perfect harmony, laying the groundwork for the Obama era.
But of course that didn’t happen, and instead this bozo who grew up in a home with a horse stable and tennis court, convinced what remains of his fanbase that he’s a man of the people who grew up in a trailer park, and lays claim to being a real ‘MURICAN by shooting at cans of Bud Light for the brand having the gall to partner with a transgender influencer, and getting our doofus “Secretary of War” to use our tax dollars to fly military helicopters over his Tennessee home. “Up jumps the boogie?” To paraphrase Fred Durst: Mr. Rock, you can take that boogie, and stick it up your ass.
