#1,571: Metallica – “No Leaf Clover”

I feel so embarrassed for classical musicians when they have to appear on stage with heavy metal bands. Years and years of viola lessons, stressful competitions to get one of the few chairs in an orchestra, and then you’re forced to be a prop for some Libertarian meathead stepping outside of his guitar/bass/drums existence to prove that he’s not just rich in money, but also rich in culture. Also, Metallica belongs on the Modern Rock chart about as much as “We Didn’t Start The Fire” belongs on the Rap Singles chart.
